Who and what type of customers would be interested in purchasing Spices in India. Need informatics on the topic. Writing up a paper about a spice company start up I would be making in the country of India, can anyone answer this question?

Who are your customers? What would be your marketing strategy in that country to reach this group of customers? What is the marketing tag line for your product?

The Indian spice market is an 18 $ Billion market , which is mostly operated and capitalised by the un organised sector. The organised sector only manages to capture a small portion of this number. A vast majority of spices are consumed in South & North India.

The demographics of customers who would be interested in purchasing Spices in India would mostly consist of baby boomers and generation x

Baby Boomers  (Born between 1946 and 1964)

Generation X (Born between 1965 and 1980)

The marketing strategy to reach Baby Boomers in India would primarily be through television ad spots between Soap Operas. Since a large numb of Indian house wires Aho are baby boomers spend a lot of time watching Indian Soap operas. These ad spots are primarily targeted by large FMCG or Fast moving consumer goods companies. The best medium to target generation x would be online, social media and digital advertising along with influencer marketing.
