Answer #1

a) GnRH-- GnRH is secreted from Hypothalamus. It acts on pituitary gland and causes release of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH) and lutenizing hormone (LH). Both these hormones act on ovaries and cause it to undergo menstrual cycle.

b) FSH -- follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) is Produced by pituitary gland during first half of menstrual cycle. It stimulates the development of maturing ovarian follicles and controls ovum production in females. It also stimulates ovaries to produce estrogen and progesterone.

C) Progesterone -- It is mainly secreted by corpus luteum in the ovary during second half of menstrual cycle. It prepares endometrium of uterus for pregnancy in the event that the released egg is fertilised. It thickens the lining of endometrium to accept the fertilised egg and allow it's implantation.

d ) LH -- In ovarian follicle LH stimulates theca cell to produce androstenedione. LH surge causes initiation of process of ovulation. After ovulation , the follicle is transformed into corpus luteum which is stimulated by LH.
