Answer #1

At working place, there may be different types of emotions like fear, anger, sadness, love, joy, surprise and other types of emotions. If we get praise at working place then we feel positive emotions.

Negative experiences produce negative emotions at working place. There are various studies which show that if someone cries at working place then their reputation at working place may get ruined. Some people take it as a natural response to stress.

If negative emotions become dominant at working place then it causes negative impression of organisation in outside world. Dominance of positive feeling at working place may cause progress and more productivity of an organisation.

Emotional norms are set by management. If some sorts of dissatisfaction is prevailing at working place and top management is not paying any attention then employees may get out of organisation by providing resignation.

Emotional contagion is basically a phenomenon in which a particular emotion of a person can trigger same type of emotion in other person. Our subconscious mind remains responsible for such emotional contagion.

Emotional contagion in negative sense can decrease the overall productivity of an organisation. We should try to spread positive emotions so that more and more productivity can be ensured. If our emotions are respected then we will be praised our suggestions will also be accepted.

We should be sensible enough to get the gist of emotions of others. Our sensible nature can win respect of others.
