Emotional intelligence in simple words mean that a person is capable to put his mind over his emotions. It is all in the brain and emotional quotient is derived from the decisions involving logics and reactions.
Most of the performers and leaders are said to have emotional intelligence as leadership trait and this helps them lead in easy or tough times. Satya Nadella is emotionally intelligent and technically an expert who knows are in-out of the tech business. It is right to support his emotional intelligence as he has depicted the traits of it and many leaders talked about his emotional wisdom. Satya Nadella is said to have empathy trait while he speaks on any topic. This is truly visible in his thought process and feedback sessions on technology. Empathy is the solid element of emotional intelligence and Satya have mastered it.
He strongly believes in the values and power of self-awareness and self-control. Using self-control Satya understand his strength and weakness and ensure he display right emotions at his workplace. Satya Nadella have belief in high employee engagement, and this sets up right tone for his leadership.
