# Central atom in IO4- is = I (Iodine)

# Number of lone pairs around central atom iodine = 0

# Ideal bond angle between iodine-oxygen bond = 109.50

# As,compared to the ideal angle, expect bond angle between the iodine-oxygen bonds to be = 109.50,

Because central atom do not contains lone pairs of electrons therefore bond angle will remains the same as that of normal tetrahedral that is 109.50.
