Jupiter's moon Lo is made up of iron in core and outer layer of brown silicate. This moon has valconic features and it comes from lo being squeezed and stretched on Jupiter's orbit.

No, the heat doesn't come from sun,it comes from strong gravitational pull of Jupiter just like activity of tides on the earth. This makes solid surface of Lo rose 300 meters. Lo's valconic is driven by silicate magma. Lo is also only body on the solar system with active volcanoes.
