ANSWER : TRUE

We know that, according to Avogadro's law, one mole of compound contain 6.022 10 23 molecules.

i e 1 mole oxygen gas contain 6.022 10 23 molecules.

1 O 2 molecule contain 2 O atoms.

Therefore, No. of O atoms in 1 mole Oxygen gas = 2 ( 6.022 10 23 )

1 mole ozone gas contain 6.022 10 23 molecules.

1 O 3 molecule contain 3 O atoms.

Hence, No. of O atoms in 1 mole Ozone gas = 3 ( 6.022 10 23 )  

From above calculations it is clear that given statement is true.

2) One molecule of oxygen gas has fewer atoms than one mole of ozone gas.

ANSWER : TRUE

In one oxygen molecule , there are only two oxygen atoms where as   1 mole ozone gas contain 3 ( 6.022 10 23 ) Oxygen atoms.

Hence, given statement is true.
