Ecdysis isthe process of moulting the exoskeleton.

1. Ecdysis helps the organisms to grow longer and prevent from drying out. Some of the adaptation that taken by Arthropods are reduced body size , presence of antenna and compound eyes, gills etc. Both pre adaptation mechanisms and ecdysis are done inorder to survive.

1- separation of exoskeleton from epidermis

2- an inactive mooting gel is produced by epidermis for protection

3- production of new cuticulin layer for exoskeleton

4- new exoskeleton is formed.

3. 1- they have multiple host life cycle. As result theya survive easily than other but some time eaten up by predators.

2- most of them have multiple mouth which help them to catch the pray easily.

3-they have ventral nerves which help the body with better movement.

4. Arthropodasa belong to group called Ecdysozoa. Other members are insects,chelicerata,crustaceans, myriapodas.
