It is studied by nested circular patterns rotating on a turntable, circle must appear not to rotate as they revolve, and the revolving present a pattern as if they are translating to one another as they revolve relative to one another, this produces a powerful illusion of depth creating an impression of protruding cone or receding tunnel or both. thus the illusion produced by 2D objects gives the perception of the 3D object. rotating about the observer's line of sight.
The 2D objects are a stimulus and 3D illusion is the result of the stimuli, that was revolving, the SKE theory is an illusion produced that is used in classical conditioning, the conditional and unconditional responses are the result of human behavior. that result from the special stimulus, an unconditional response occurs naturally while the conditional response appears when a stimulus is introduced or presented. The feeling of hunger in response to the smell of favorite food is an unconditional response. while the conditioned response is feeling hungry after hearing the sound of a bell,
The classical conditioning is used in treating many illnesses like phobia and anxiety, by producing stimuli that provoke anxiety and then introducing relaxation technique, thus creating an illusion of anxiety and relaxation in association.
