INTRODUCTION :- Achievement gap refers to the differences in the performance of the students academically between the various groups.This differences can be in any terms as such grade point average,course or even on the basis of tests performance.There could be various factors which can lead to achievement gap,that could be on part of either teacher or students,and sometimes even schools.

EXPLANATION OF ACHIEVEMENT GAP IN EDUCATION DO YOU FIND MOST CONVINCING?WHY?

There are various explanation provided,which gives the probable cause of achievement gap among students,such as either the carelessness of students or teachers,or the school system working ineffectively for the growth of students,or showing some sort of partial treatment with some students.In other words,these explanations are based on three factors which are students,classrooms or school.

Among all these explanation,i find classroom factor as the most most convincing explanation for the achievement gap.It is so,because classroom and the environment present there plays an important role in the studies and achievement of student.In any classroom,the role of teacher is very significant,it is basically the responsibility of the teacher to maintain healthy environment in the classroom,treats every student equally,and help each one of them who is in need.If the classroom environment is cooperative and so as the teacher and students are,it will definitely lead to the achievement of every student present there,and in the absence of this,there are more chance of achievement gap.Because primarily if the classroom isn't the place where student feel at peace while interacting with others,it will sure affect his grades.Moreover,if he cannot relate with the teacher,or in worse situation if the teacher shows any kind of partiality among students,it can easily lead to achievement gap of those students who are bearing the differences.
