Compared to fifty years ago, how would you assess the importance of families for people living in the United States? What about the importance of religion? In each case, has change been for the better or not? Why?

Secondly, the family structures are constantly changing because of the increased individual rights, sexual orientations and work life. The traditional family set-up has changed into single parents, two biological parents, grandparent family, same sex parent etc. Thus, both the structure and roles of both religion and family because people are changing and technology is changing people for better. However, the change in the family structure seems to provide more freedom to people but it affects the children to a great extent and causes more issues in the society.
