Exothermic process is the one in which heat is liberated from the process to surroundings.

Endothermic process is the one in which heat is absorbed by the process from the surroundings.

Since the dissolution of KNO3 results decrease in temperature of the solution, dissolution process absorbs energy from the surrounding. So, it is endothermic process.

Randomness of particles increases in solution compared to solid. So, entropy increases.

Therefore, the correct option is c).
