Online communication environment is that surrounding in which we communicate or convey our ideas, views or opinions with another person use of internet and electronic device like laptop, mobile etc.In online environment, there are many challenges which we can encounter but i would share one challenge in communicating online which i face most often-

Online conversation is very time consuming is one of the main challenge in which a simple conversation which can be done in face to face method takes eternity. like we send message then another receive message if he is available then give response otherwise we wait for minutes or hours. the cause of this challenge could be poor internet connection on either side, distractions like home work, houses duties from parents etc which can make other party to leave conversation in between.

Formal communication is based on pre-defined standards and principles like use of proper Grammar, phrases, words etc while in Informal communication with our friends and family there is no such restrictions like on text we write ASAP, TY(thank you), BTW(By the way) like short forms which are not supported by formal communication.

In formal Communication, we can use only words which are professional and formal in nature while in information communication we can be frank, use emojis, etc like things. we do not have to professional while communicating with our friends or family.

At university, there are many resources like we can make great use of University library to find books on academic writing, we can use APA guidelines to make our academic communication more professional. Another resource is Home work by our teachers gave to us in which we write or practice essay, letters , business memos to make our communication more academic and professional.

The activities which were most meaningful to me is that teachers in university support student to make their writing more academic and solve their issues encountered in between. the Books and old practice papers helps us as guide to make our communication more effective also the group discussions with students and teachers is most meaningful to me.

the information which i would want to collect is use of proper formatting, grammar and citations in written communication which would help me to make my academic writing more effective.
