  1. Which of the following is true regarding the concentration of the reactants for a chemical reaction that is at equilibrium.

a. Concentration of the reactants will not change because the forward reaction has stopped

b. Concentration of the reactants will not change because the intermediate is used up

c. Concentration of the reactants will not change because the forward and reverse reacts rates are equal

d. Concentration of the reactants will change because this is a dynamic process

e. Concentration of the reactants will change because of reversibility.

Answer #1

When a system is at equilibrium
rate of forward reaction= rate of backward reaction
means reaction is still proceeding in both sides but with
equal speed .Hence concentration of reactants /product will
not change once the system attains equilibrium

So answer is option C . Concentration of reactant will not
change because forward and reverse reaction rates are equal
