Design an elevator control system for a large building that has 5 elevators. Four of the elevators are turned on all of the time, while fifth is activated only if a majority of the other 4 are being used (to save energy costs). This control system should have an input for each of the four primary elevators to indicate that elevator is being used (with logic 1). A high output from the control system will activate the fifth elevator for its use.

Design a Mealy FSM that will model an elevator that can be at any of 4 floors of EPIC (Ground, First, Second, and Third). There are 2 input buttons that are active High – U to move UP and D to move DOWN. The input buttons are mutually exclusive, that is, only one of them can be active at any point in time (U = 0 and D = 1 makes it go DOWN, and U = 1 and D...

just need the truth tables sop and circuits CET 363 Digital Circuits Design Project Liquid storage tank control unit In this projact you will design the control unit for a liquid storage tank. The control unit monitors temperature and liquid levels. The unit will maintain the appropriate liquid level by controlling input and output valves. The control unit also controls a heater to maintain the correct temperature range. Finaly, an alarm is activated if the liquid is too hot or...

A four-bit control code (C0, C1, C2, C3) is used in a digital system. Only the eight codes shown in the table are used. Any unused code is considered to be invalid. Design a combinational circuit that confirms that the current control code is valid. In other words, obtain a logic diagram with four inputs (C3, C2, C1, C0) and one output (V). V is equal to 1 when the inputs contain one of the valid control codes below and...

Design a system whose output goes high only after 8 consecutive 1's appear on the input; once the output goes high, it takes four consecutive 0's on the input to make the output go low again. You will use one switch as the input, and one button as the clock. Assign a binary state code to each state of your FSM. On a piece of paper, develop a truth table for the next state and output logic. On a piece...

Four large tanks at a chemical plant contain different liquids being bested. Liquid-level sensors are used to detect whenever the level in thanks A and B rises. Above a predetermined level Temperature sensor in tanks C and D detect when the temperature in these drops below a prescribed temperature limit. Assume that the liquid-level sensor outputs(A and B)are LOW (0) when the level is satisfactory and HIGH(1)when the level is too high. Also, the temperature-sensor outputs (C and D)are LOW(0)when...
