How can students and teachers use technology to support the four Cs ( critical thinking and problem solving, communication, collaboration, creativity and innovation) ?

Teachers and students can use the technology to a greater extent to support the four Cs in their education program. The four Cs are some of the most important skills which are to be used and learned by the student. The four Cs are to be taught by the teacher to the students and so it becomes as the biggest challenging task for the teacher while teaching. Let's talk about the four Cs in detail:

  • Critical thinking and problem solving:

This can be done by going through online research which should be followed by a in-class debate. When the student is having the ability to evaluate the arguments and the evidences then we can say that it is the foundation for the critical thinking. Student has to think independently for the building process. To improve this student has to be put into debates and make them to work in as groups to achieve the projects.

  • Communication:

In a class student may feel shy to communicate this can be overcome by using online forums for the entire class. This online forums helps in removing added pressure to the students.

  • Collaboration:

Online peer review groups helps the students to have good collaboration among the students. This can be done through uploading assignments online which allows them to receive feedback.

  • Creativity:

Creativity and innovation makes the students to use technology to a greater extent. To improve creativity in the students teacher plays the main role. For this the teacher can use apps and websites.
