Using the Project Management Book of Knowledge a a primary resource, please explain what the process group Communications Knowledge Area is and why it is important and what the best way to implement the project is.

The communications knowledge area is focused on one of the project manager’s primary duties, which is communicating with the project stakeholders. We begin by developing the communications management plan where we detail how and when and what information we will communicate to the stakeholders. The focus here is on creating different communications procedures for different stakeholders so we meet their particular needs in terms of report content, medium, frequency and scope. As we begin to execute the project plan, we actively manage our communications, making adjustments in the plan to suit the stakeholders’ needs. We also control the communications to make sure we’re following the plan.

So, if you want to complete projects successfully, all team members should be on the same page. Moreover, they should work as a team to achieve the common objective. If you want that to happen, then you will have to communicate effectively and regularly.so, this areas helps the project manager-

• to coordinate with its team members.
• to check on the status of the project
• identify and solve any team conflicts in the project.

the best way to implement this is to do regular scheduled meetings, provide status reports of the project, so that any kind of mis communication can not fail the project.
