Answer #1

Role of FDA is aimed at modernizing our food safety system in U.S and preventing problem before they occur.

Our food travels a lot which make pathogen to attack them and became strong and harder to defeat,so people suffer more susceptible to food borne illness, for these reason we need a food safety system.

The FDA job under FSMA is to set new food safety standard.

The focus of new law is on building and prevention throughout our food safety system.

FDA assures that foods are safe, sanitary and properly labelled.

For white oak syrup,FDA look properly and diagnose that the syrup is pure or not and before wrapping ,FDA watch and issued a document stating that it was reconsidering.

FDA doesn't allow any added sugar in syrup.

Purity is big deal for FDA

FDA point is that sugar in syrup is just as nutritionally unnecessary as added sugar. FDA declares syrup producers to register unless all syrup produced is consumed on farm.

Syrup makers have to register with FDA by filling form.

FDA will look after the colour of syrup, good flavour should be there, odour and will look that is syrup free from defect and should be practically clear.

So FDA has a very great role in maintaining food quality for U.S.
