  1. What is the probability that in any given minute 9 visitors will land on your website?
  2. The conversion rate of people who buy your product is 25% who land on the page and you have big dreams, can you ever expect a conversion number of 10 people per minute?

let x be the random variable = no of visitors per min, where x Po(14)

= 14

(a) P(x=9)

(b) conversion rate is 25%

so to get conversion number of 10 per minute, we need 40 visitors per minute (= 10 / 25%)

we need to find P(x= 40)

Hence with mean number of visitors 14 per minute and 25% conversion rate we cannot expect 10 conversions per minute.
