The combining forecast techniques are also called as the composite form of forecasts and it describes the averaging of the independent form of the forecasts. It is important to mention that different method or different data. The averaging rule is based on simple averaging and through the usage of a rule that can be replicated.

Combining forecasts can be considered as an appealing approach. It is important to mention that there are ways of generating independent forecasts. One of the methods is to use different methods of forecasting and the other is to analyze different data.

Usage of different sources of data removes biases and also helps in adding useful information. Usage of different methods and usage of different goes hand in hand. In recent studies, five forecasts are used wherever possible; usage of the formal procedures whenever combining forecasts; usage of trimmed means; if the evidence are strong, then tracked records can vary in weights; unequal weights to be used if there is a lack of evidence that supports the unequal weighting of forecasts.
