For the first task, time required = 15 minutes

Time required for the second task = 12.75 minutes.

Since the time taken to do a task is always positive and it reduces by each additional task undertaken, we assume that the time taken by the new employed worker reduces geometrically with each additional task undertaken, we calculate the value of 'r', the amount by which the reduction takes place.

where t stands for the number of task undertaken, t = 1, 2, 3, 4, .....

Thus, for the tenth task, the worker takes 3.4742 minutes.
