.Disorder: Skin Disorder- psoriasis
Manifestations are defined as the comprehensive signs and symptoms associated with a disorder. After selecting a disorder, you will build off of what is presented in your textbook starting by defining and explaining the differences between the terms signs and symptoms, then moving on to summarizing commonly found manifestations within the body system (for example: if doing a skin disorder, talk about common sign manifestations found in many skin disorders). You will then get more specific on the signs and symptoms of your selected disorder (i.e. eczema includes rash, pain, exudate; muscular dystrophy includes weakness and atrophy) to show your understanding of what a sign is versus and symptom as it applies to a disorder or disease. Make sure you outline how you would "measure" these manifestations when appropriate (for example: size of rash, color, presence of discoloration, range of motion, etc.).
