Bandura started with a focus on human motivation, action and thought.
He is best known for his Bobo Doll Experiment. It emphasized that children imitate the behaviour of others. This is also known as social learning theory.
Bandura has also developed his social cognitive theory from a holistic view of human cognition concerning social awareness and influence.
He developed the theory of moral agency, which is an offshoot of his social cognitive theory.
He has also developed the theory of self-efficacy.
He published several books that explore social cognitive theories, self-organization and regulation, and self-efficacy.
