The patient should be asked to do breathing exercises. One should cough and breath in order to avoid any medical problems such as anesthetic breathlessness .

The technique of pursed lip breathing can be opted.

The patient should be asked to exhale slowly.

Using anesthesia is necessary during dental procedures.

General or local anesthesia should have been avoided during dental surgery.

Anesthetic personnel should monitor the patient during and after surgery till the patient gets fine.
