T test shows which of our regression slope parameters are significant that is which independent variables are significant to predict the dependent variable. We always test null hypothesis as the slope parameters are zero against they are not zero. So if hypothesis is rejected by t test that means that particular slope parameter is not zero that means the independent variable associated with the slope parameter plays a significant role in the model to predict the dependent variable.
