a. Management information system (MIS) is a type of Information system. MIS is used in companies to aid and guide the overall management in taking strategic business decisions. MIS works with the objective of automating the routine operations of business, especially of the HR Department. Various facets of project management like planning, decision making as well as evaluating and monitoring projects can be assisted using MIS.

The various benefits of employing MIS in business are:

  • Facilitate the middle managers to take strategic decisions
  • Saves time, facilitates business processes and is quite cost effective
  • Helps in establishing clear communication lines across organization

b. In my views, technology is facilitating the social structures of the society.

  • The level of awareness in society is increasing due to technology
  • Interaction and knowledge sharing gets facilitated
  • Societal engagement is encouraged
  • Finding solutions for any problem becomes quite easy

So, technological advancement and its embracement in the society is facilitating the overall growth and development of the society.

c. In my views, the most important technological advancement of all times is Israel turning sea water to pure water, fit for drinking. The technology of desalination is facilitating the water problem of the whole world. Israel came up with the technology of desalination and is the only country in the world which has been able to distill and purify sea water to make it fit as drinking water on a mass level. . As we all know, the future generations may face huge water scarcity due to depleting water bodies. This technology of desalination would help the future generations in meeting their water requirement, quite easily.
