Answer #1

Benefits of BIM and how it influences the development of a healthcare building construction project are:-

  1. Converts visualization into Reality – With help of augmented reality the system and technology is developed in a way that the elements from real world are integrated into visuals through computers. It helps in bridging the gap between the concept and actual thing. An example of the same is construction of the building through visualized design with integration of BIM and hence it would help in converting the visualized design into reality. With help of BIM, all people involved in construction of a building can communicate and hence helps in developing the project where the real building resonates and is pretty similar to the visualized design.
  2. BIM- The use of BIM helps in enhancing the resource without wasting a lot of money and time. It reduces the requirement of repeated work and hence streamlines the whole process of construction by connecting people on the same page. The computer integrated program helps in optimization and hence it helps in developing a healthcare facility which is pretty much efficient. It helps in managing the raw materials needed for construction, reduce waste and also helps in creating designs that represents pretty much the actual construction of the healthcare facility.
  3. Helps in simplying things – The BIM is an important technology which helps in easing the elements of a complex project. It helps in connecting the design as well as construction teams and work on the same ground without actually be present in person. The communication becomes smooth and efficient with help of VDC or virtual design and construction.
  4. Risk reduction – there are many problems or risks which might stall the development of the healthcare management facility. However, with BIM, all the details of the project can be present within a single system and it helps in strategically developing an information model. The VDC efficacies helps in resolving problems and clashes and streamlining the project.
  5. Better planning and co-ordination – when it comes to planning as well as co-ordination of plan, especially in construction terms, it requires intense work for developing better healthcare facility. The BIM project managers can collectively work with the whole team and hence they are on the same page. Right from planning to sourcing the materials to design and construction, it can be co-ordinated with help of BIM.
  6. Better marketing – It is easy and convenient to market things when it is managed through right technology and platform. With whole team working together, the errors and rework is drastically reduced and hence the spatial requirements can be easily maintained. The marketing can be done easily through right co-ordination.
  7. Requirements of Equipments – when developing and construction a healthcare facility, it is important to have a basic layout and accordingly source and use the spatial requirements. With help of BIM, a project can be developed that gives an accurate visualization of how layout would be and where the equipments would be placed. All the rooms, functions and how the machines will be placed along with their operation and function can be determined.
  8. Change and modify spatial Need – when the spatial requirements are to be determined inside a healthcare management system, an actual visualization through BIM can be provided. It helps in documenting and developing every single detail of the building and later it can be used to make changes or even renovate.
  9. Better and high tech design – The infrastructure and facilities for a healthcare management unit needs to be cutting edge. The architectural significance and its sustainability is an important aspect. The design, technology and aesthetic of the building and the method of construction can be done through BMI technology.
  10. Regulatory Approvals – With help of BMI, the project model for the healthcare can be delivered and it can gain regulatory approvals, it determines that it is a good healthcare service provider. There are certifications which are necessary and it can be obtained through these approvals.

BIM is a great simulation technology which helps in bridging the gap between visualization of a project to its reality. It is a great technology which can help in developing projects for hospital and healthcare facility through efficient designing, planning and communication. The whole process of construction tends to simplify and hence the projects actually are true representation of how the healthcare facility would be actually constructed.
