Yes, I believe that women participation rate influences inequality between the sexes as many people have their own perception that women do not have a equal place to men in the society which is the reason they have to face inequality. But nowadays we are observing rising women share in the labor force and more than 50% of the corporate employees are now women. As their participation rise, people would start respecting them more as they may hold more power than men in future and one of the live example we have is Theresa May who lead the one of the world's biggest democracy. When we have more women like this, the inequality would fall between the sexes.
