answer-
The Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (DDA) makes it unlawful to discriminate against a person, in many areas of public life, including: employment, education, getting or using services, renting or buying a house or unit, and accessing public places, because of their disability.
It achieves its goals by providing legal protection to people with disabilities and forms the firm ground that they would never be discriminated again in future. If any person found guilty of violating this law then they would suffer consequences like fines, the maximum civil penalty for a first violation under title III from $55,000 to $75,000; for a subsequent violation the new maximum is $150,000.
Fry v. Napolean Community Schools (2017) The Court clarifies the definition of "disabled" under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and allows students to bring lawsuits directly under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504) without requesting an administrative hearing under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) when their claim is not related to the adequacy of their education.
