In today’s so fiercely competitive environment the best success attribute is having a team which is equipped with innovative and creative capabilities. And to give the organization competitive edge by virtue of innovation and creativity at work the organization must have an employee base which is from diverse background, a diverse background does not only mean professional experience are different rather there should be cultural diversity too.

To create such team, you need to foster a culture of diversity and focus on maintaining a very high-performance culture at work.

Steps to be followed for building the diverse team:

a.     Hire employee from different industry as well as culturally different background

b.    Having different education background and demographically different origin will also help.

c.     Create an inclusive environment at work and team

d.    Lay out a proper plan for on-boarding the new team members

e.     Reduce emphasis on internal employee referrals
