Write a medical scenario which relates to a typical day in the life of a health care professional working in the same field where you would eventually like to work. Again, this scenario can be based on any health related subject of your choice and should be relevant to your future career goals. You can design the typical day however you wish based on your own critical thinking skills, creativity, and imagination Also, you can choose the setting where the scenario occurs based on where you would like to work in the future. Consider the prompts below for inspiration. If your goal is to become a cardiologist, for example, the working day could be located in the office treating patients or performing different surgeries in a hospital. Otherwise, he/she could be a guest speaker at the American Heart Association. 3. In you assignment, make sure to briefly describe the following: Your professional career goal as it is related to the health care or health advocacy setting you chose (i.e. a hospital, clinic, a nonprofit organization,etc.) The title of the medical professional that you are featuring in your scenario (i.e. technician, nurse, physician, cardiologist, neurologist, gastroenterologist, oncologist, health educator, etc.)

I will wish to work as a Health Educator in a health care professional setting. The medical scenario of my routine work in such position will be framed as mentioned below :

Medical Scenario :

A Health Educator At Non Profit Organization

I work at a Non profit Organization at the position of Senior Health Educator and help the organization to attain its mission and goal of decreasing the rate of emergency care, death tollls and encouraging early detection of diseases among people to receive efficienct preventive and corrective measures at time.

My career goal in working with such a setting is community welfare and social well-being through serving people and encouraging them to take all possible steps to ensure their long term well-being. My job entails working in collaboration with both the patients through educating them as well as the medical professionals and experts through reporting them the results of medical health surveys so that they can make strategies to improve the health scenario in the community.

I am making use of social marketing tools to educate and aware the people of my community to stay aware of the symptoms or symbols of some common but dreadful diseases which are overtaking the human well-being. I am currently working on prevention of a contagious diseases such as leprosy, with my team associates who support and guide me in targeting the different type of audience differently. I have been working online , operating through website and social handles of website to post symptoms of the diseases snd immediate treatment. I will be speaking on the topic in later part of my day to address my audience in free medical camps organised by our organization today.

The camp will be attended by major population of community and I will be educating and advising my audience on how to live a health life style, how to eliminate consuming harmful food or items and how to improve health through exercising and having a balanced diet to prevent chances of getting leprosy , apart from that I will communicate them preventive measures for going to meet someone who is suffering from the disease.

One of my major concern is prevention of spreading of contagious diseases in the community through encouraging my organization to establish isolation and quarantine houses for which I have given the notice of same to the organization requesting to upper management for establishing a fund raising program for building same.

I am also taking up the role of public speaker for addressing to my audience relating to prevention of various diseases such as Thyroid, Diabetes, Cholesterol, Catdiac arrests, Strokes and encouraging the treatment at early stages when symptoms show.
