I need to write a 2-3 page critical analysis of a peer-reviewed journal that uses interpretation of statistical analysis. Can someone 'dumb' this down for me. I do not understand what they are wanting me to do.

Answer #1

A peer-reviewed journal is one wherein articles submitted for publication in that journal are reviewed by a board of subject-matter experts. They have to pass certain criteria for excellence and statistical significance before they can be published in the said journal. Almost all peer-reviewed journals use interpretation of statistical analysis.

Critical analysis would mean you are expected to choose a peer-reviewed journal with interpretation of statistical analysis (you may find the list as per your subject on the internet or in the library) and explain it's merits and demerits.

Please make sure you are to make a critical analysis of a peer-reviewed "journal" or of "an article" from a peer-reviewed journal with said specifications.
