if you have 5 people at a party and a quarter is flip 8 times by each person what is the probability of landing a head
Hi,
If each person will flip the coin 8 times then we will have total 40 experiments.
Having a head in 40 experiments or trials means 39 tails.
So, the required probability will be
(1/2)*[(1/2)^39] = (1/2)^40 means 1/2 to the power 40
Thanks!
1·[5] You have five quarters. You flip each quarter in order and see whether it becomes heads (H) or tails (T). Provide a completion solution space with a notation where two heads followed by three tails would represented by HHTTT. Find the probabilities of no Heads, One Head, Two Heads, Three Heads, Four Heads, and Five Heads.
PLEASE ANSWER QUESTION # 5 a and b !!!!!!!!!!
4) Chapter 4-5: a) You flip a balanced coin 3 times. What is the probability that you get 3 heads? b) You flip a balanced coin 3 more times. What is the probability that you get 3 tails? c) What is the probability that you get 3 heads followed by 3 tails? d) What is the probability that you get exactly 1 head in the 6 flips? 5) Chapter 6: a)...
