Following reaction is an oxidation of sulfur in presence of excess O2 to give SO3.

One mole of S8 reacts with 12 Mol of O2 to give 8 mol of SO3.

1 Mol S8 = 256 gram Sulfur.

For the above reaction, option D is not correct.

The Correct statement will be: In order to produce 8 mol SO3, 256 S8 and 384 g O2 must react.
