One of the most important characteristics of a scientist is curiosity. A scientist would curious about what’s going on around them and what could they do to improve it or what new things could make the task easy. This curious attitude helps them observe almost all the activities that goes on around them and learn lots of things on their own and create new equipment that would make life easy because necessity is the mother of invention. This necessity is identified through the scientist’s curiosity and observation. Doubt (Skepticism) is one of the paramount characteristics of the scientists because proof or evidence decides whether something is scientific or philosophic. Being skeptical about different things makes the scientists try them in real time in a lab or real-world scenario thus test them for their functionality. Scientists may invent a lot of things but it’s really important that they don’t boast themselves of their inventions because if they don’t remain humble, they would become arrogant and use their inventions for negative use thus causing more trouble than benefit to the society.
