Answer #1

The folloing areas receive input from vestibular nuclei:

1. The oculomotor, trochlear, and abducens nuclei which mediate eye movements.

2. Vestibular portions of the cerebellum: Responsible fo balance and coordination.

3. Anterior horn cells in the spinal cord: Fibres from lateral vestibular nuclei reach the anterior horn cells via the vestibulospinal tract. The function here is to coordinate movements of the head and trunk

Apart from the above areas, even the thalamus receives inputs from the vestibular nuclei which are then relayed to the cortical areas.
