An acidic sample represents to have a value of pH equal to the natural logarithm of the H-ion concentrations. Here, it must be carefully noted that the lowest possible acidic pH is unity and the highest is 6.99. Thus, the value of the logarithm of H represents the pH of the sample only. Therefore, more is the value of pH for an acid, lower is its acidity.

Hence, no sample can have a logarithm value of more than 6.99 for an acid.
