A cellular cortex is the network of contractile proteins that's rich in actin and motor protein myosin and bound to the plasma membrane of almost animal cells. It functions to allow the cell migration (or movement) & their division. However, these cellular adaptability are not present in mature red blood cells (RBCs). Hence statements (b) and (d) are correct.
