A process model that selects work off a backlog and uses quick frequent meetings to go over status and imediments is called Scrum.

A Scrum is a framework within which people can address complex adaptive problems,at the time when productively and creatively delivering products of the naximum possible value.

Scrum is:

  • Lightweight
  • Simple to understand
  • Difficult to master

The Scrum framework comprises of Scrum Teams and their respective roles, events, artifacts, and rules. Each component under framework serves a particular purpose and is necessary to Scrum’s success and usage.

The rules of Scrum wraps together the roles, events, and artifacts, governing the relationships and interaction between them. The rules of Scrum are explained throughout the body of this document.
