1. Cutter radius compensation is provides a way to adjust the toolpath at the machine to compensate for tool size, tool wear, and tool deflection.

The code G40 cancels the cutter radius compensation.

2. As the name suggests, tool length compensation enables a cnc machine to compensate for many tools of different lengths. It allows a machinist to set a Z axis datum on a part and use multiple tools without having to reset the Z datum for each tool used.

It's obvious that a tool will have some length and its hard to calculate each time by eliminating the tool length with the true machining dimensions. So to make these things easy we take a compensation and machines does the rest eliminating calculations.

1. The process of Widening drilled or bored hole is called reaming. So option B is correct.

2. In cnc programing block numbers are denoted with N. For example N01, N02 etc. So option C is correct.
