Which two elements (besides H and He) exhibit prominent positive anomalies with respect to their abundance in the solar system? Explain why these elements have unusually high abundances relative to their neighbors.

The other two elements exhibit prominent positive analomalies with respect to their neighbours are Carbon (made by fusion of 3 He) and oxygen (made by fusion of 4 He).

Since, by burning of hydrogen in Sun, the fusion of He started and produced Carbon and oxygen. As one know that He has atomic no 2 and mass 4, so on fussion of He, the element with even atomic no formed easily.

The other elements formed like Li, Be etc further reacts and convert in other elements. These two are the reason of existing more Carbon and Oxygen in solar system in comparison to their neighbors.
