Solution:

The given statement is True.

A rationalizable action is the one which a person will take at least once given other players strategies. In other words, if there exists a strategy for a player which shall never be chosen as the best response action under any scenario (as in under any possibile strategy profile of other players).

When we talk of a dominance solvable game, in case of strict dominance, that is every player has a strict dominant strategy to play, that is a strategy which will be chosen every time for whatever the other player plays. Hence, that would be the only strategy left as the rationalizable action, and thus, playing this will result in an equilibrium where each player is playing the best and have no incentive to deviate.

Q3.23. Which of the following statements about game theory is NOT true? Game theory accounts for the expected costs and benefits associated with different behaviors. Game theory accounts for strategies chosen by others when assessing the benefit of a behavior. Game theory assumes players will seek to maximize some important payoff, such as fitness. Game theory assumes that a strategy's payoff is not dependent on strategies adopted by other players

At the beginning of the game, players1 and 2 simultaneously make decisions, each pulling out a Red or Blue marble. Neither player can see what the other player is choosing. After this choice, the players secretly reveal their marbles to each other without letting player 3 see. If both players choose Red, then the game ends and the payoff...
