Toys R Us failed because of the following reasons:
(1) Toys R Us never focused on necessary change to grow their business. Stores were too huge, ineffectively marketed, and customer support was practically non-existent.
(2) Toys R Us neglected to make convincing explanations behind clients to visit the store, either because of a better store experience or through partnership to sell well known brands or items.
(3) Toys R Us was attempting to win on convenience and price, but it wasn't convenient and the prices weren't so incredible.

Toy sellers also face pressure from the competition from both online outlets and big-box stores.
