High cost is involved in managing machinery and running capital intensive operations as compared to Labor intensive operations.

unemployment- due to this factor it's easy to get labor to run operations with margin of negotiations is always there. More capital intensive operations more unemployment in the nation.

Competition- Competitive advantage has redefined the operations structure.

Poverty- due to this labor is compelled to lower down his wages on part of cost cutting which has created a vast undistributed market of labor.

Variability in skilled and unskilled labour.

No rigid labor laws to safeguard interests of labor.

High operating cost in capital intensive operations with more effeciency and effectiveness could be measured.

Labor intensive operations could provide real time feedback, flexible as per the situation.
