Managers are the people that who plays an important role in organizations. They perform different functions according to the organization need. There are some basic functions performed by the managers are planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling. Managers should plan goals that which will make the organization more successful. They organize all the tasks according to the employee designation. Manager have the power to appoint the employees according to their skills and he can also fire the employees if the doesn’t perform the given tasks perfectly. Managers will direct the employees in ethical way and he/she also gives decisions when ever required. Sometimes all the tasks in the organization will be controlled by the manager.
Manger also changes his/her role according to the need for organization. Manager involves in different types of roles like interpersonal roles, information roles and decisional roles. If manager perform the interpersonal role then he/she will be the leader for the employees and coordinate all the employees. If manager perform informational roles then he/she will be the behalf of the organization and communicate with the other parties. If manager perform the decisional roles then some of the important decisions will be carried by him/her.
There are some of the important skills for the manager like decision making that which plays the major role for the organizational success. Technical skills- manager should have some knowledge regarding that which will increase the sales of the organization. Motivation- It was one of the important and crucial aspects because it will give the best results. Problem solving- Sometimes employees feel more stress to solve the problems at that time manager should take the initiative to solve the problems.
