Problem solving simply refers to finding a solution to a problem
Decision making refers to makinga final choice from many alternatives
The major relationship between these three are when there is problem ,a decision to be taken to solve the problem ,which often needs analysis, comparisons,gathering information, positive and negative impacts of the decision made and how it provides a solution to it.
For example.
When a patient has to be transfused for blood due to severe anaemia but which is against their culture.Here comes the role of patient as well as the health care professionals. On the perspective of a patient,he or she has to make a decision to solve the problem (transfusion will save life) this is possible after critical thinking ( thinking and understanding the concept ,necessity ,benefits ,effects)
