Using negative feedback, if a variable (i.e., temperature) goes out of range high, the result will be very harmful, dangerous or very alarming

It is because negative feedback serves the purpose of regulating a reaction by stopping it in the conditions when the product is formed in the excess or there is no need for the time being.But, if the variable goes out of range, then the reaction will be stopped for ever which can create a deficiency of the concerned product in the organism and if that component is involved in doing some vital function , then the whole system will get affected by it. As a result alarming consequences.
