Recommendations regarding an expansion of the benefits programs offered at the company that would further align HR with the accomplishment of organizational goals and values. The companies are AFLAC and LL Bean. Please use references.

1.Define your major goals for the company in writing.

2.List who within the organizational structure will handle the various components of the plan.

3.Present the plans to your upper management team so the company leadership is on the same page.

4.Schedule a meeting with employees to share the company goals and the employees' role in achieving them.

5.Hold training sessions that relate to the company goals.

6.Communicate the company's progress toward the established goals regularly.

7.Share the company's goals and vision during the interview process when recruiting new employees.

Recommendations regarding an expansion of the benefits programs offered at the company that would further align HR with the accomplishment of organizational goals and values. Changes in the economy and workforce programs that allows employees to donate their personal time off to others employees should be encouraged. Expand break rooms into lunch style cafeterias to benefit employees and encourage them to spend less on meals at the workplace. Many people have to bring their lunch or spend their 30 min lunch break on a fast food line to grab a meal and run back to the office. Financial planning and profit sharing should be encouraged. Offer bonuses to employees to use “green” initiatives to help the environment. Offer job sharing, telecommuting when applicable and other work arrangements for employees to include single parents. ConclusionStrategic outcomes and total rewards lead to success. Compensation and benefits gives employees a path to total rewards. This process offers personal and professional growth opportunities and motivates a work environment with recognition, valued job initiatives and work/life balance.
