In 150 words or less, describe an additional duty not listed below that you foresee health care administrators performing in the future (next 5 years) due to the changing landscape of the health care industry. Please identify both the change and the resulting additional duty. Provide one outside professional or peer reviewed source to support your response.

1. Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of medical, nursing, technical, clerical, service, maintenance, and other personnel.
2. Maintain communication between governing boards, medical staff, and department heads by attending board meetings and coordinating interdepartmental functioning.
3. Review and analyze facility activities and data to aid planning and cash and risk management and to improve service utilization.
4. Plan, implement and administer programs and services in a health care or medical facility, including personnel administration, training, and coordination of medical, nursing and physical plant staff.
5. Direct or conduct recruitment, hiring and training of personnel.
6. Establish work schedules and assignments for staff, according to workload, space, and equipment availability.
7. Maintain awareness of advances in medicine, computerized diagnostic and treatment equipment, data processing technology, government regulations, health insurance changes, and financing options.
8. Monitor the use of diagnostic services, inpatient beds, facilities, and staff to ensure effective use of resources and assess the need for additional staff, equipment, and services.
9. Develop and maintain computerized record management systems to store and process data such as personnel activities and information, and to produce reports.
10. Work to improve quality and efficiency in delivering care.

1.Train staffs to the new emerging discoveries coming in health industry.Robotics are used in health industry nowadays itself so to work along with the robotics the training programmes should be arranged in a efficient manner.

2.Organize special training program to the staffs in innovative way.

3.Arrange the training program to the training students coming to the hospital along with the staff thus can produce a efficient staffs in future.

The training program should be innovative and in interactive manner rather than a one way communication from experts.

It can also be in the digitalized training sessions hence they can find their own time for developing skills.Also include the evaluation program in a strict manner and provide credits.

4.Usually Audit is conducted once in a month or once in a year in some hospitals.Still somewhere it is still a just a paper work to evaluate performance and quality.so a new digitalized audit method should come up and a daily check of automatic audit should be done.such software should be installed by the administrators.

5.Arrange the research committee in the hospital comprising of experts in all disciplines including IT professionals to develop the more software according to the need of hospitals.The committee will discover more advancements in industry.
