Radical designs help to achieve aggressive goals that businesses set. Radical designs on the business process are adequate when a company is looking for a serious change in a short period of time. These serious changes could be when the circumstances of the environment change or when we want to significantly beat the competitions quickly. The environment is constantly. Radical design aid businesses to keep up with the abrupt changes constantly happening in technology and consumer taste. It can reinforce businesses and keep them up to standards so that changes will not affect them abruptly and unexpectedly. Most important radical designs help in the business' productivity and gains when using innovative processes. The popularity it gained was beneficial because it helped other businesses realize the competitive field and that they must also incorporate innovative ideas in order to keep up with constant change occurring.
I agree that radical change helps organization beat the competition and quickly adapt to the changes in the business environment. It also develops a culture of continuous change and keep people in urgency to capitalize on the new opportunities coming through the business environment. At the same time, organization as a system becomes ready to thwart any threat coming from the business environment. Here, the organization has to take care that there should be a regular training & development of the employees so that they are kept upgraded in the light of radical changes in the organization. Further, employee participation should also be ensured so that they are kept motivated w.r.t. the radical change.
The radical change becomes more
successful, when there is a continuous effort as well to develop a
balance between the people, process and technology being adopted.
It will streamline the flow of work and radical change will bring
success. Not doing so, radical change with all the good intentions,
will bring failure to the organization.
